Peter Brook Art Exhibition
New exhibition celebrating the Pennines!
It is with real pride that I announce a new exhibition of my most recent paintings and drawings are now being shown in a joint exhibition with a collection of Pennine paintings by artist Peter Brook at Harrison lord Gallery, Brighouse, Near Huddersfield in Kirklees.
The Harrison Lord Gallery, said “We are delighted to be able to hold a Peter Brook exhibition once again. He is still a much loved figure and the response to his work is always exceptional. Also, it is with great pleasure, that we are also showcasing the work of Robert Dutton. Robert’s connections with Peter Brook via their mutual friend Richard Littlewood (a well known professional Pennine landscape and documentary photographer) make for a really special exhibition. Robert has been inspired by the same views that Peter loved.”
The collection of my expressive paintings and drawings are indeed created en plain air in similar locations to those chosen by Peter Brook but many are new, sourced deep int he high Pennines and in the wilder landscapes in this untamed landscape leading to very dramatic paintings indeed!
The free exhibition runs until December 24th.
